Our Afterschool program is designed for juniors looking to grow their game in a fun yet challenging environment. Whether your children are new to the game or looking to improve and progress, our structured program is designed for players of all ages and abilities to learn the sport of a lifetime!

PeeWees (ages 4-6)
Mondays & Wednesdays 5:00-6:00pm
PeeWees is an introduction to tennis that utilizes a smaller court and shorter racquets to enable earlier rally/play. Focus is on hand-eye coordination, racquet skills, basic movement, strokes, and most importantly FUN!

Turbo (ages 7-10)
Mondays & Wednesdays 5:00-6:00pm
Utilizing the Orange Ball Level of 10 & Under Tennis, this class teaches advanced motor skills, coordination, tennis court awareness, basic tennis strokes and fun games. It also introduces them to point play, scoring, and strategy.

Tornado (ages 12 & Under)
Tuesdays & Thursdays 5:00-7:00pm
Team Challenge Play Options included! Experience the thrill of competition.
Learn to play, and play to learn!
This class is for junior looking to get started with a lifetime sport. Tornados is customized for beginners and will teach the basic court fundamentals as well as rules and etiquette.

Academy Development (ages 12+)
Tuesdays & Thursdays 5:00-7:00pm

This Academy Training class is for intermediate to advanced level players who want to work in a team environment to improve on all aspects of their game. Using advanced teaching methods, dynamic drills and match play options we strive to push juniors to achieve their highest potential.

Academy & High School Performance Program (ages 12+ Invitational Only)
Tuesdays & Thursdays 5:00-7:00pm
AP CLINIC IS DESIGNED FOR TOURNAMENT LEVEL PLAYERS.

This program is for Advanced tournament driven players. We utilize advanced training methods such as live ball drills, competitive point play and conditioning to prepare players to compete at a high level.

KRISTIE REID
Director of Tennis
Originally from Palm Springs, California, Kristie attended and played tennis at Tyler Junior College where she finished second in the nation before concluding her collegiate career at Ouachita Baptist University. Kristie is a USPTA P1 tennis professional and was recognized as the CDT Pro of the Year in 2019. Prior to her role as Tennis Director, Kristie served as the Walden Director of Junior Programs for 10 years.
